Rising Stars Day School is the strong foundation your kids deserve. By providing an atmosphere where each child is encouraged to advance at their own pace, our mission is to foster children’s independence, confidence, and creativity through a broad range of age-appropriate play, projects, and activities. In a safe learning environment, we aim to introduce positive skills and values and provide an encouraging educational experience that will foster a solid foundation for lifelong success.
Our Philosophy
Our school provides a Reggio Emilia-inspired environment and values the child as central to their learning. Our open and free-flowing classrooms enable uninterrupted exploration, play, and learning, and our outdoor space and time are valued just as highly as formal classrooms. We encourage children to explore, and most of the educational experiences take the form of projects where they can actively participate and question things. Teachers are encouraged to observe children rather than direct them.
